George Washington in his Mason attire

This is a walk through Flushing Meadow-Corona Park in Queens. We will talk about its history, the changes over the years, the two World Fair events and much more. We will explore most of the park. Then, we will view many of their sculptures and monuments that are throughout the park. We will search for the George Washington sculpture and the Unisphere. We will talk about what the plans are for the Pavilion.

As we continue our walk, we will end at the Queens Museum where we will see the largest “Panorama of the City of New York”. If you have never viewed it, you will be in for a treat. The other exhibit is the Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass. This may be the largest collection of Tiffany you will have the opportunity to view.
