Six of you (4 for Newark & 2 for Queens) decided that our holiday trip is to Newark Museum. We plan to visit the Ballantine's house where it will be all decked in Victorian Christmas traditions. We will see how English, German and Dutch holidays traditions merged. Another exhibit that we may want to check out is "Seeing America". It starts with colonial times and ends in the 21st Century. It explores the impact of artists on shaping our culture. This should be interesting. We will stop by James Street Commons Historic District to see how it celebrates the holiday season. Early Dinner: Unfortunately, La Cocina is not open on Saturdays and the other ones nearby open at 5:30pm. As we get closer to the event, I'll provide information for our early dinner or we can just take something to eat until we get home.
